It is important to choose the child not only school, but also the first teacher. Stopping swap choice on a school teacher is sure to ask for a training module on the set of the study. Its integrity: the unity of the structure of textbooks in all grades and subjects; unity through-lines model assignments; Unity approaches (communicative, informative) to organize training and overtime work. Bundled everything is subject to: a system of basic knowledge, skills and generic training action, which form the basis for further learning; creating educational space in which there are records of individual tempo of child development and build his own motion, responsive to the interests, needs and capacities of small pupil.
Training kit consists of textbooks, workbooks, didactic and methodical manuals for all subjects for all grades of elementary school. Tutorials are made so that the children had been interested to learn, and parents — easily help if a child for any reason, difficulties were encountered in the development of training material.
For example, every tutorial on any subject for all classes is divided into several major sections that begin with a special spread is a route where Visual means presented content, logic and the stages of study material on accessible child level. Block sheets illustrate educational challenges for younger students. Constant recourse to it helps provide consistency of presentation, to formulate training goals, track progress on the topic, to assess their knowledge.

The teacher tried to guide the students to be able to find a wide range of potential, guiding students in order to achieve and carry out the duties of their development, so that he can grow with and develop as individuals are independent and productive. The student is a unique individual. That is, no two individuals are identical. Though physically possible individuals have similarities, but essentially they are not the same, both in talent, interests, and abilities and so on. In addition each individual also are creatures that are developing. The rhythm of their development is certainly not the same as well. The difference is exactly what teachers have to prosecute acts as a mentor.
The relationship of teachers and students as well as a farmer with vegetation, a farmer could not insist the plants bear fruit quickly by pulling the stem or leaves. Plant it will bear fruit when he has the potential for fruitful and have come to the time to bear fruit. Duties of a farmer is to keep the plants were grown to perfection, not exposed to disease pests that can cause the plant does not grow and not grow up with healthy, i.e. by means of a sow, fertilizer and watering, let give drug pest control. Likewise is the case with a teacher. Students will grow and develop into a person in accordance with the interest and the talent he has. The task is keeping teachers, directs and guides the students to grow and develop according to their potential, interests and talents. This is the meaning of the role of supervisor. So, the essence of the role of teachers as mentors is located in the power intensity of interpersonal relationships between teachers with their students.
Teachers as mentors is claimed to be able to identify students who are alleged to have difficulty in learning, conduct diagnosis, prognosis, and if it is still within the limits of authority, should help solving them (remedial teaching).
So that teachers can optimize its role as a mentor, here are a few things to note:
The teacher must have an understanding of children’s. This understanding is particularly important, since it will determine the type of techniques and guidance should be given to them.
Teachers are able to treat students as individuals who are unique and provide opportunities to students to study in accordance with the uniqueness that it owns. Teachers should be in a relationship that is familiar, full of warmth and trust, including trying to maintain the confidentiality of student data, if the data that is private.
The teacher always provides opportunities to their students to consult share difficulties faced their students, either when it was in class and outside class. Teachers should be able to understand the General principles of counseling and master the basic techniques of counseling for the benefit of coaching their students, especially when the students experienced certain difficulties in his studies.

Self teaching is teaching for self-education or self-direction. A self-taught is usually a person who learned something alone, typically a fan of some area of knowledge. This ability has led to success of famous people and a certain prestige.
A person can become a self-taught in any stage of your life. While some people prefer to be taught in a conventional manner in a particular field of knowledge, the self-taught choose to educate themselves in other areas generally not studied. It should be emphasized that this process of teaching is not necessarily an individual process fundamentally. Some self-learners spend a large amount of time in libraries or educational sites. Many, according to their teaching plans, to evaluate yourself through references such as family members, friends and others (though purely speaking, this assessment is not part of the self-study). In fact, the term ‘self-taught’ is used widely as a figure of speech, and may even be confused with ‘educated in a non-conventional’, which is completely different.
Many face difficulties especially at the beginning of self-learning process, because the most difficult to teach yourself how is knowing where to start. The self-study has direct implications on the Theory of Education, Educational Research, Philosophy of Education and Educational Psychology.

The need for qualified teachers of the higher current must be addressed positively by the managers of teacher education. This positive response should be shown to constantly improve the quality of educational programs it offers. Improved quality of education at higher education level is obviously going to bring a positive impact on the creation of qualified teachers later in life.
In order to create a quality teacher education, based on some research Darling-Hammond. and Bransford (Ed.) (2005: 394) states that there are at least three important elements in the design of teacher education programs must be improved (made different from current conditions). These three elements are as follows.
1. The content of teacher education, with regard to the material that must be given to the students, how to deliver it, how to integrate a variety of materials so that meaningful, as well as how the expansion for the students have the cognitive map that will help them see the relationship between teacher knowledge domain with a practical use in field to encourage students to learn.
2. Learning process, with regard to the preparation of curriculum that is consistent with the readiness of the students and fundamental to the material and practical learning process which could lead to student understanding through active creativity in the classroom.
3. Learning context, with regard to the creation of contextual learning process in order to develop practical skills of students. Learning context should apply in both domains as well as teaching materials through professional learning communities (schools).
Related to the above opinion, Lang and Evans (2006: 3) in a more explicit claim that the creation of quality educational programs can be based on essences teacher education programs as follows.
1. Practical experience with theoretical significance.
2. Cooperation between higher education with other educational communities.
3. Theory and practice in generic skills and reflection and discussion about the effectiveness of these skills.
4. Giving emphasis on the process students learn how to enhance creativity and critical thinking skills.
5. Ability to organize learning.
6. Application of constructivism approach in learning.
7. Application of alternative assessment and the theory of motivation.
8. Building a research-based professionalism.
Based on the two positions, top-quality education program is basically a teacher education program that continues to consider the question of what teachers should learn and what teachers can do. What questions should be studied teacher education program will encourage teachers always teach contextual materials to the students. Contextual material is of course not only theoretically presented but presented in a practical way so that the prospective teachers are able to get two at once experience the concepts and practical. In other words, it can be said of teacher education programs must be able to educate prospective teachers in learning the basic assumptions about the practical concept in practice.
The second question about what teachers can do to encourage the implementation of the teacher education program leading to potential exploration and the needs of the students adapted to the real conditions of teachers’ performance in the field. Thus, teacher education programs will continue to focus on the creation of hard skills and soft skills that must be owned by teachers. This means that teacher education programs must be able to provide professional skills to its graduates as well as creating graduates who have the ability to think high to be very useful to develop professionalism when they’ve become a teacher someday. Therefore, the implementation of the educational process in teacher education programs should be geared towards introducing students as a teacher and play as long as he took his studies.
A quality teacher education programs is not the teacher education programs that provide various models of knowledge and learning strategies to students but are able to apply various models and strategies to students so that students acquire theoretical concepts and the application description as well. Through this real experience, a complaint on the ignorance of teachers of various models and learning strategies as well as the inability of teachers to apply various models and strategies will be able to deny. In addition, by applying various models and strategies directly to students, will increase the creativity of students and prospective teachers will understand that the teacher is basically an effort to always be a professional learner.
Professional development of teacher education which can also be formed through improved research-based learning process. This means that from the beginning the students should be encouraged to do simple research on each course. Through this kind of learning style, the prospective teachers are expected to find a real teacher esesi while developing their competence to carry out skilled future research when they become teachers. In addition, research-based learning can also be interpreted to mean that the learning process is done in college is always based on the latest research results in line with the scientific vision and market signals so that graduates will have a number of skills that is really needed in the field.
In the end, the creation of a quality education program will depend on the quality awareness of the managers. With this, the managers of institutions of higher education teacher training is based on the educational process should run clear quality assurance. The teacher education program managers are required to provide excellent service to students so that all programs are implemented can deliver the students become qualified human resources. In addition, the impact of this quality will lead to bother also on public confidence in the teacher education institutions so that the continuity of the teacher education program will be guaranteed in the future.

If students and parents and then being able to communicate at home, it then creates a synergy of communication between teachers and students to share their experiences upon returning to apply the technology in the classroom.
In some training that was held by the Sampoerna Foundation Teacher Institute (SFTI), the educators were given the opportunity to develop a way to design policies in the use of technology in schools by involving students. The goal, the learning process using this technology enables the creation of a sense of responsibility that grew from student to maintain the good name of students, teachers, and school.
Once the participants know the teacher and student efforts to create a good digital citizens, the Gerald Donovan, Deputy Director and English teacher at the School of Bogor Raya, complete the next training session with the title ‘How to utilize Web 2.0 in Learning Processes. ” Here, participants are shown various examples of online learning sites, both developed by teachers or by students.
In the last training session, Gerald, an avid use of technology in the learning process, invited participants to practice interacting directly online using some Web 2.0 technology. They, the teachers, introduced starting from Google Earth, Google Sketch Up, Delicious, Youtube, Wiki, as well as some online games that can be used by teachers and parents in facilitating the educational process, both at school and home.
Departing from there, Gerald again underlines the school policy on Internet usage, which he called the Acceptable Used Policy (AUP). In this case, he asserted that children involved in illicit sites are children who do intend to access it. Instead, they will transfer the site if they do not want it.
So, the real key is empowerment, not control of the child and school policy itself. Then, Gerald was invited participants consisting of teachers and parents to have the desire to start and continue to learn to use technology at all times to guide children and students in using technology. Gerald expect, teachers and parents can communicate and share experiences when they return to school when applying the technology in its class.
Of course this is not easy for a teacher or parent in preparing his son as heir to the world of technology in education. It needs a strong commitment and a good partnership between government, school principals, teachers, students and parents and communities in changing this paradigm.
Yes, a good change need to be harmonized with a good perspective as well. We no longer can hide from the rapid growth of technology and information. Many aspects of life that has not been born 20 years ago, is now present in our midst, in the type of new jobs, new lecture material, as well as new business and industry, both small, medium, or large.
The changes will continue, but our paradigm, especially teachers and parents, also must be able to adjust to the positive. Now, whether the education system, curriculum and teaching staff at the school you are ready to face this challenge?
Must be ready. Because, we will never know what else the change will happen in 20 years. For this reason, we must prepare and equip our next generation to be lifelong learners in order to create new innovation in providing solutions to people’s lives in the future.
